So this week show us all the sexy moments from when your characters are making love, before or after because each and every one of them is sexy and hot and oh…can we fan ourselves now?
Candle in the Dark is five winter holiday stories. Christmas, Yule, New Year's, etc. In "Welcome Winter" we see how another planet celebrates their winter solstice, and Hevik Montag gets a little bit of warmth in the cold of space.

From "Welcome Winter" in Candle in the Dark
He wiped them up with a corner of the sheet and let Sindri nestle into his arms. “You took a big chance coming here with me, so I'll take a big one on you. Stay. Just sleep in my arms all night.” He nuzzled Sindri's hair.
Sindri licked his neck. “I guess it's true what they say about spacers then?”
“Heard a lot. What are you thinking of?”
“That you want the touch and cuddle as much as the climax. Most men would have already shoved me away. Stones, half would have thrown me out half-naked when I finished sucking.”
“Some men aren’t worth exhaust fumes.” Hevik tucked Sindri into his shoulder and wrapped his arms firmly around the warm body. His stomach growled.
“Didn't get enough at the feast?” Sindri gave him a grin. “Let me call out. I know the best leovi flatbread in town.” After a fast call, he curled back into Hevik's arms. “My treat tonight. You can buy next time.”
Hevik just shrugged. He'd already mentioned he lifted in the morning. He listened to Sindri talk, about work, about winter, about whatever. The guy had a nice voice, pretty high, but definitely a man's when he wasn't being Sparkle. It was nice just to be close.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll post recipes for the holidays. Wednesdays and Fridays get crafts. This morning, I have caffeine and a warm kitty curled up under my afghan and purring against my toes.

This is the Year of Acapella, so before we're all rum-pa-pum-pummelled into scroogery, here's Pentatonix doing my second-favorite version of "Little Drummer Boy." (Don't worry, Bowie and der Bingle are coming soon)

In almost all traditions, winter has been a time to huddle around the fire and be thankful for those the fire is shared with. The holidays grew out of a need to celebrate that time, from Christmas to Chanukah to Solstice. The longest night of the year has always held some special mystery, and we’re proud to present you with several stories of how those mysteries bear fruit.
Ebook $2.50, paperback $5, and a 10% off coupon for any December purchases.

My Sexy Saturday: A Sexy First
This week’s theme is a sexy first. A sexy first could be anything: a sexy first kiss, a sexy first meeting, a sexy first spaceship ride with that sexy someone. You tell us what you want the sexy first to be. And no matter what your concept of a sexy first may be, we’d love to hear all about that wonderful moment.
Paul (BB, stands for Big Bad Wolf) and Dan (Furball) met over a mailing list. Now, Paul is throwing a holiday party and Dan has flown all the way from Memphis to Wisconsin for it.

The slim, dark bearded man that stepped out of the tunnel was not quite what I had expected. He was wearing the Cthulhu in a Santa Hat sweatshirt that he had told me he’d be wearing. I walked up to him and steered him out of the general traffic before hugging him.
“Welcome to the Great White North, Furball.”
“Hello yourself, BB.” He winked and wrapped an arm around my waist. “I didn’t check anything, so we can just go.”
“Great.” I could feel the sexual tension building already. He smelled good. Clean, but without heavy aftershave or cologne. Mostly it was just the smell of him. I caught his nose twitching too. “Pup, you thinking what I’m thinking?”
A slow sexy smile crossed his face. “I bet I am. But I think we should go home. Homeland Security really frowns on people sitting in their cars even if they’re making out.”
“Just making sure we’re not going to end up in that scene from Random Hearts.”
“Hate to break it to you, but you’re not exactly Harrison Ford.” He patted me where I was getting thick in the middle from too much time in my drafting chair and too little at the gym.
How about a sexy first meeting from the first stand-alone story I ever wrote?
Seven paragraphs from "Cake Under the Mistletoe," collected in Riding the Nightmare

Ellora's Cave Chicanery again...
And the hits just keep coming.
My mail today. Why does a check cut on September 30 have an October 25 postmark?
Why are books that I have had the rights returned still on sale?
"Eight Days Ablaze" is apparently still theirs. I checked my reversion letters, and it is not mentioned. "For Love of Etarin" and "Raising the Dead" however, HAVE reverted.
"For Love of Etarin" is the same way.
And yet, it still available on GooglePlay.
Glad Hands and Privateer's Treasure are still up on Amazon, And the rights reverted back August 15.
The Reversion letter was weird:
Ellora’s Cave Publishing Inc. reverts to you as author all rights to the contracted and published works listed below, released under your pen name of NAOMI BROOKS. (1) We have ceased sales of digital copies of these works. We have notified our third party digital and print distributors (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Google, ARe, Ingram, OverDrive and others) to remove the books from sale; be aware it can take them several days to several weeks to implement a removal notice.
GLAD HANDS
HEART OF A FOREST
PRIVATEER'S TRESURE(2)
1) Naomi Brooks is NOT my pen name. Naomi is my writing partner. I write under my real name.
2) Misspelling of title. Can that nullify the reversion?
